    Well, Steve, as best I can make out, it's a silver grosz (gross) from King Sigismund the First's (Sigismund the Elder) reign (1506-1548). The coin was minted in Krakow, the capitol city at the time, hence the crown mintmark. It's not particularly rare, and in that condition it's probably worth between $20-40 in Poland. I have no idea what it would go for in other markets. Hope you're having fun with your Polish collection! Keep up the good work.
