Greed isn't good

Remember that guy why the 1/1 PSA 10 2nd year Gretzkty? The guy that said if his reserve wasn't met he would never relist it? Well, he relisted it without a reserve. The first auction got up to $4,950, but never reached his reserve. This time it only got up to the $3,800 mark. He got a little greedy and it cost him $1,100.

Comments

  • Well, I think he simply disclosed his reserve and somone pushed it right up to the reserve.

Either way, thats some $$$ for the card!!

Greed is good, I suppose you have to assume the seller was willing to part w/ that price then.

    Otherwise, you're 100% correct.

Greed captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit - greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right. Greed works.

    Works for Micky Douglas.
