I remember people asking $20-30 a card! I just dug some out, still with prices tags no less, and was curious what they are worth now. Here is a set on ebay for 1.99!

Remember the '91 Leaf Gold Rookie craze?

I spent a small fortune putting that set together when it first came out. I don't want to remember what I spent on Todd Van Poppel, Ryan Klesko, etc.

CardKid, you think you got torched on the gold leaf rookies....i traded '72 dr. j rookie and an 86 fleer jordan rookie for a box of the '91 leaf series two. Talk about a card dealer taking advatage of a kid!

Remember 1989 Score football and how that was hot, then they let the presses roll on the 1990 Score football, got burnt on that one. I know this is not the same, but still pissed me off. Stupid factory sets.
