Bought this for my dad for Father's Day. Cert checks out but the font looks wrong to me. Is it an old font or did I get taken?

I believe the early graded cards all began with a 0 and the lettering etc was not so bold as cards graded today.

<< <i>Its legit, but if you crack and resend I can almost guarantee that card wouldn't get a "6" today.

You think it's less than a 6?

Looks like a fine looking card with an old flip. From the pictures it looks like it could pull a 6 again to me.

<< <i>Very interesting to see comments about PSA grading cards tougher this year as opposed to last. It is the minority thought process as I have read many detailed comments about how PSA is MUCH more lax nowadays. >>
Send in some vintage and make your own call. The "PSA is too lax" talk was last fall, I believe. With the direction Beckett is heading and GAI having a customer-service meltdown, PSA's tightening up a bit is actually a pretty good thing in the long run.
I would have to say you must not be submitting much vintage (1959 and earlier) i think they are MUCH MUCH tougher on vintage then they have ever been.
