What a GREAT game!!! Jeter had 2 Home Runs including his 1st Grand Slam of his career.

The Military Festivities were AWESOME.

I could not beleive there were so many Cub fans at the game. What did they do, fly them in
from Chicago? LOL

    Very nice. Did they actually fire their guns?

    Also, don't be surprised about the Cubs fans. They travel everywhere and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of them resided in NY. Plus, they travel very well, but this weekend will be another in which Cub fans will be disappointed since they lost a series and are in danger of being swept.

    megatron, they didn't fire guns. I figured a lot of those Cubs fans were transplanted Chicagoans who now live in New York but many probably traveled to NY for the series as there were just sooooooo many. I heard on Sports radio that the Cubs have never won (even in the World Series) in Yankee stadium....maybe today. image

    goose3, thanks. It's a Fuji Finepix 2 Mega Pixel with a Zoom Lens my father bought for me on eBay a few years back. Even though it might be outdated and isn't 4 Mega Pixel, it does take great photos.

    Nice pics, especially the close up of Sergio Mitre. You are seeing the Cubs at their inconsistent best. Maybe they can pull one out today.

    I think your theory on the transplanted Cubs fans is correct. There are many transplanted Yankee fans in the Chicago area as well.

    Yankee Stadium is the only MLB ballpark that I have not been to that I would want to go to. Maybe someday.

    goose3, I forgot to mention, needless to say it is a Digital Camera. It is simply amazing how good the quality of these cameras has gotten and my camera is 3 years old. I can't tell the difference between digital and film.
