61 Topps FB set - help wanted

Have decided to give this set a shot for the registry competition this fall. I know that Vineyard ( a nice guy by the way a good to deal with) has put the top two sets together so far. I also suspect that MOSH will soon enter the fray having seen the #2 set recently sell. Obviously an uphill battle.
I put my set together the old fashioned way, like Vineyard, one card at a time. It hasn't been easy nor quick and I am now nearing the end when they get impossible. I need a few upgrades which I will pursue but I still need six in PSA 7 or better. They are 3,9, 12,28, 38 and 94. Would pay generously for any of these.
In general the low numbers in this set are much, much more difficult to find than the high numbers. There was a large find in the 80's of high # vending in the Southwest and in top condition this has made the high numbers a bit easier than the lower numbers. The set is full of stars and record breakers cards with a couple of significant rookies being Otto and Maynard. PSA 8 hi's can be had on eBay for much less than book value. A few of the high number 9's are remarkably plentiful and can be had very cheaply. Low numbers often slightly above book most of the very low pop cards are in the low number series. The cards are photos against a colored background with a black text bar across the bottom. Not my favorite set in the 60's but fun to collect and no real high $ showstoppers in PSA 8 which makes it relatively affordable in piece meal.

You might get a few more reply's if you turn your PM on, and/or list your e-mail address. I tried calling 411 information, and asking for a "Mr. Fear the Fuzz" listing, but they didn't have one on file. I know I've got your e-mail address written down around here somewhere, but that would require me actually getting up off my chair and moving ... which just isn't in my plans for today.
Speaking of answering e-mails .... did you get Wolf's?
Will you be joining us this year for the REAL competition, or what?
We've all been polishing up on our Chief's smacktalk, but I promise ... we'll go easy on you!
Mike
I'll check my duplicates and raw to see if I have anything that might help you out.
I agree it's not the best looking set of the 60's. I focused on it because it was the year I was born, and many of the players were still active 5-6 years later when I started paying attention to footall.
I'm still waiting for Paul Lemm's set to show up on the registry with it's new owner.
Regards,
Greg M.
