WouldI deter you from buying raw if the same seller had PSA cards ending the same day?

Just curious if it is silly to list PSA and raw cards on ebay, people may think raw is trimmed, or had significant damage..at least I would. I just dug up a ton of raw cards.

Good point - but only if the grading fees would add more value to the card than the cost of the grading fees plus postage, time, etc. For instance if a seller lists a 1975 George Brett Rookie PSA graded Near Mint and lists a lot of 1975 raw commons that looked Near Mint - no way I would think the commons were trimmed. If he also had listed a raw 1965 Mantle that looked Near Mint - yes that would be very suspicious and I wouldn't bid on the Mantle.

That is my dilema I have a Lopat psa 5 and raw cards that may grade 5 and above but the fees aren't worth it.

I hear ya. I had a 1961 Jim Otto rookie that may have graded an 8, but was too OC, IMO for an 8. So I listed it raw and am happy with the results. I put a nice big scan up and answered questions as honestly(and genericly) as I could and It actually sold for more than I thought it would as an 8OC or a 7.

I was torn with that question too as I sell many PSA grade, but I also figured the expirenced colllector is the one that would look at my other/completed auctions and if they have that type of exoerience, they would take into consideration all things that I did when deciding not to grade it.

    This is my endless dilemma.

I would be a little cautious if the non-graded cards weren't commons or not mint. I think you would be just fine though if your feedback is good. My trust issues are with cards that are obviously worth a lot more graded being marketed raw with graded cards.

Or, the guys that have some PSA cards up for auction as well as PRO cards. You just know the PRO card is trimmed. Although even if they are selling an Air Supply CD and a PRO card you know the PRO card is trimmed!

^good point,I have bunch of Jordan basketball cards that would grade 8,not worth the fees. Commons are understanble not to grade.
