    Hi Teach

Toploaders are fine but always use penny sleeves with them. Your cards can be damaged by movement or scratched by the toploader if you dont. Also you can display your cards in 9 pockett pages and in binders. Whatever you choose is fine. As far as the expensive cards, if they are gradeable then I would send them in to be graded. If you choose not to grade them, then the toploaders with penny sleeves would be fine. Some people like the screwdowns over toploaders because they look nicer if you are displaying your cards.

My average cards go in penny sleeves and top loaders..........my better cards go in SGC slabs!

Something else I do with the penny sleeves, especially with old cards that may have even the slightest corner fraying, is to use a knife to cut the edge of the sleeve so it is easier to slide the card in from the side without damaging it further. You've gotten some good advice so far, except for the SGC slabs! harhar

"hh - there is no better advice than an SGC slab!"

I'd like you to explain just what difference you think it makes.

Hey...that could almost become the "tag-line" for an SGC ad: "for those who seek out the advice of the professionals...'there is no better advice than an SGC slab!'"

I wonder if the SGC people are reading this?
