Yes, the Yankees did win the game, but you've got to feel horrible knowing they decided to take this guy when they could have kept Javy! Pavano is so bad he makes Kevin Brown look like Mordecai "Three Finger" Brown. Ohh you poor, poor Yankees...

Before tonight Pavano had two great outings but the Yankees didn't give him any run support.

<< <i>BOOOOOOOOOOOOORING >>
So boring yet you feel the need to reply?
From the AP (referring to the HR he gave up to lose today's game) :
<< <i>It was the 16th home run allowed this year by Pavano, matching his total last season with Florida. Signed to a $39.95 million, four-year contract in the offseason, he has given up 120 hits, most in the major leagues. He fell to 0-4 in six starts since beating the Mets 5-3 on May 23. >>
He may have velocity, but the movement on his stuff is gone.
Brian
<< <i>Johnson and Pavano look like studs compared to Henn - I've never heard of this dude a few months ago, but he sports an ERA over 11. He allowed 1 run in the second so his ERA went down

He allowed 3 HRs 6 earned in just over 4 innings. What is it with yankee pitchers giving up 3 bombs an outing...seems to have happened a lot.
10-2 after 7? Good lord that pitching staff of the yankees is pathetic.
