Anybody know Buddy Pardue?
When I lived in California before the year 2000 there was
a tv coin show coming out of Chattanooga Tennessee.
It came on where I was from midnight to 4:00 in the morning
Fridays and Saturdays.
This is the only tv coin show that I could ever trust. Buddy Pardue
taught the audience how not to get ripped off and how to avoid
cleaned coins. And his prices were right! Then he went off the air
in 1999. I called their 1-800 number and was told that they would
be coming back on the air soon.
Never happened.

The nice thing about the show was that, unlike any other coin sales program, he tried to sell individual coins. "Here's an MS-65 Walker, nice strike, and this is the coin you WILL receive!"
That said, I think he was a bit overpriced. I don't think you can possibly sell coins on TV and NOT price higher than the rest of the market. Too much overhead.
Added: By the way....Welcome to the forums!!!
oops that's Buddy Holly. Sorry

Amercoin, do you know how I could get ahold of him?
Like if he has shop in Chattanooga?
If he does do you know its name? I could access his number that way.
Thankyou.
Anybody else know anything?
The prices were outrageous but that is how it goes if you are going to be on TV. Big time overhead to sell coins on TV.
jom
I caught the show in its last months. I remember him bringing his wife/helper on camera.
Maybe she replaced the blonde. I don't know.
Thanks for the reply.
