OK, I really need to find something else to do today....
I'm through for now. Just thought I would add some that my wife and niece make me purchase. They think my Classic US stamps are boring. Time for someone else to share theirs.
The second emission of the Netherlands, first published in 1864. A very underappreciated issue due to the first from 1852, and the third from 1867 with more values. These were the first perforated stamps in the Netherlands.
It's a hard series to study, due to a lot of things. There were two printers (first they were printed at the mint, after that at the same place were stamps are still printed) and there are a lot of small color nuances.
I'm building a specialised exhibition collection. Don't have a lot yet, just started a few weeks ago but IMHO they are very nice and historical.
