I know absolutly nothing about coins but a friend found this and gave it to me. I found out it is Polish currency and that it is usually in a paper form. The year is 1987, not very old, and it is in good condition. On the back it says Polska Rzeczpospolita Ludowa. Does anybody know what this means? Or how much it's worth in U.S. money? There is a picture attached if that helps. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanx.

This Polish Democratic People's Republic 20 Zlotych coin is equivalent to about .60 U.S. Collector value may be about .50-$1. There were over 22 million of these copper-nickel coins made that year of a design used 1984-90.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.
