Centering

I can't tell for sure, but this 1958 Ernie doesn't seem to meet the centering standards for a 6 to me. One more reason why not to buy without a scan.

Maybe the seller asked for NQ. Can't tell/judge the corners or edges. Could of been an 8 OC.

I had assumed, I guess incorrectly, that even without a qualifier the card still had to meet the standard for the lower grade that got assigned to it. In any event, the centering makes it hard to look at the thing.

  • Those edges better cut your finger like a razor and the corners better cut glass like diamonds if it didnt get an OC qualifier....

The standards for PSA 6 require only 80/20 centering. Tough to tell from that small scan, but it has to be close.
