Sorry Ernie, the passing signal is on for the 1980 mint Set!!!

I just completed my 1980 mint set and it is looking so good for now! I still need to find a 1980 d kennedy in ms 66 or ms 67 and a 1980 p washington in ms67, then I will be just about finished with this set. It took me almost a year to find many of these wonderful top pops, but at last we met!!

Here is a link!!

Zachary

Now time to move on to a different set, any suggestions?

Already started on that one, I have 12% done woohoo!! My GPA is 67.50 so I can be fairly happy about that, but only 88% more to go!

You just want to tease him in the 1968 year coins, don't you? image

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

No it was the fact that it takes nearly 500 coins to complete - A daunting task that IMO, few will ever be able to complete in high grade.

Looks great. The '80-D half is tough because about 97% of mint set coins have
an ugly shallow gouge on the obverse, reverse, or both.

    OK Zach...Now I get it...

YOU are the one I've been fighting over on TT. image
YOU are the one that stole the MS67 Washington, and the MS67 Kennedy from me last week! image
YOU are the one who snatched the MS67 Roosie from me last night! image

It's been YOU all along! image

    Hey Ernie,

Actually I didn't buy any washingtons or kennedys from teletrade lately. The only thing I bought lately was my 1980 p ms66fs jeff and those roosies in ms67. That 1980 d washington ms67 was the first coin in my 1980 mint set! I didn't even know about those other ones or I would have been bidding on them too! Sorry I stole those roosies from you! I should have had both of them back in January but forgot about the auctions and missed them so I was very happy to get them this time around!

Building this set with you has been very very fun! I wish I could build every set next to you (and don't worry the next one I build I will be behind you, I promise!) You are a good friend to have on the forums!

    Thanks Mas,

Luckily for me I found like 5 top pops in the last two weeks, otherwise I would have had no chance!
