So, what would be best?

Do I,

A) Sell my one and only Canadian proof set and go onto British coins

B) Keep my Canadian set and go British OR

C) Just go British since I already have a 1986 uncirculated set.

How popular is it to collect Canadian proof sets? I'm looking for direction for best overall return. Who here does not like the new Queen's efigy on the Canadian coins?

Don't know about the regular coins but I don't like the queen on the new silver maples.

If you're looking for "return" on investment, I doubt if Canadian proof sets are the way to go. Most I've seen sell for less than original mint pricing. Perhaps some of the older ones would be decent keepers.

For a collection, though, without regard to return, I think they're beautiful, especially the double dollar sets image
