Very nice card. But I hate the way PSA encapsulates the oversized cards in the plastic condom.
  • Nice card. Not many of those around eh!

Condom or in the buff, that is a spectacular card. SMR says '33 OPC series B commons have a PSA 9 value of $650, but that has to be just a blind stab in the dark, right? The min. bid on this one is $2,495.

I know this seller is for real, but a couple odd things on such a special 1/1 card is that shipping is only $3 and there is absolutely zero description. Not the way I would present it!

Actually, as of early May, there was only 1 other card graded PSA 9 from this set from close to
350 submissions. Also only 15 others received 8's. I checked the cert # and it looks like there we're
5 of these 33 opc's submitted together, 2 of the other cards from the submission are the 2 PSA 8's that are also currently on Ebay. The other 2 are PSA 5's.

I would love to hear the story of where this group came from and how it surfaced. For those that may not realize, high grade pre-war hockey is as tough as it gets.

If that PSA 9 was the Howie Morenz or the Eddie Shore the sky would be the limit.
