eBay Dispute/FVF credit question

In April, I had an unpaid item. In May, I reported the Dispute to eBay as an Unpaid Item. It had sat in my Dispute Console waiting for action by the unpaid buyer and there were no actions required by me. The FVF credit was listed as eligible waiting for action by the buyer - but he had been NARU since May. Now the dispute has been closed due to reporting time having elapsed. What the @%#$! eBay waiting for from a NARU buyer?? What should I have done differently?

Getting the item into the dispute console is the first step. There is a timer that starts and you need to go back into the console and request FVFs after sufficient time has passed. The refunding of FVFs is not automatic.
Looking for a Glen Rice Inkredible and Alex Rodriguez cards

  • What I remember:

If buyer's NARU, file for unpaid item notice and ebay will give you FVF credit right away.

If buyer's NOT NARU, file for unpaid item notice and you have to wait for 7 days. After 7 days and buyer did not respond you have to close the dispute and ebay will give you a FVF credit and you can relist the item for free. Even if not yet 7 days once buyer's NARU you can close the dispute and you get your FVF. If buyer is not yet NARU, ebay will not let you close if less than 7 days.

***You MUST CLOSE the dispute to get FVF credit and can relist for free.
