45 Day Submission done in 3 business days!

I've never submitted under the 45 Day special before. Has anyone noticed if there is any correlation between the time your credit card gets charged and the time it takes for a submission to be completed?

Do you feel like a larger or smaller order gets done faster?

It seems like the 45 day submissions are generally done in the 30-37 day range from results I've seen but I've also seen them done in 10 days. What is everyone's experience with this?

A lot of the football is ending up in my set registries, at least until I can upgrade them. The hockey and baseball that doesn't go in the top 200 set is for sale/trade.

In my experience, orders that contain only base cards get graded faster than orders w/ player registry cards (a lot of insterts, parallels, ect..). I'd say 40+ days if the order has a lot of inserts, parallels, ect and 25+ days for base card orders.

I've sent a few orders in under the $5 special, all between 100 and 200 cards and I think the longest any of them took to grade was 10 days. There was no odd ball stuff in there.

I don't think there is a correlation between when your credit card is charged and when the cards are graded.

Thanks for the replies. I don't have anything in there that I need to get asap... I was just wondering because my card was charged today and I submission started last Thursday. I didn't know if there was a correlation or not. If I get them back in 10 days that would be awesome! I've got another batch of 35 cards waiting to go in again tomorrow too...45 day sub again.

Man, they're running fast this week! I got my "set Registry" freebie which had no guaranteed turnaround time in 1 day, my 45 day in 3 business days and my 5 day in 4 business days. I'm ecstatic with PSA right now! Oh, and my love affair convinced me to turn that 35 card submission into a 59 card submission.... so that makes just under 200 cards in the last month.

I dont know what's going on. But boy o' boy... I'm happy! I was hoping to have this 72 card submission back in time for nationals, now I'm hoping to have my new 59 card submission back in time...not that it matters really as it's mostly non-descript crap for my all-time team/qb/def/rec sets. But there are a few notables in there.

Oh yeah, and Krems...lets see it!

By the way, here is my 6 card submission. Just picked these up cuz I wanted them...the Clemente is tilted or would have been a solid 8, even a 9. It's a rock star if not for the tilt.

Not really...to tell you the truth, I usually list all the 10's at $9.99 each on ebay and probably 1/2 to 3/4 will sell. I then keep all of the 9's and the 10's that don't sell and put them into my set on the registry. My goal is to have a set that pays for itself. Of course some minor stars and certain teams will sell for a premium just because people don't want to mess with grading them. I'm way ahead right now because of the PSA 10 Mattinglys, Ryans, ect. that I've sold from previous case busts.
