We have a Koson Thrace gold stater for sale.
This is the only one left of 2 staters.
Thought about keeping this coin, but it doesn't fit with the type of coins I collect.
Price is listed but will consider serious offers.
Insurance will be included for free.
Coin is very fine, excellent condition. A beautiful example of this type coin.

Here is some info:
Koson Thrace Gold Stater
Imperatorial: Thrace, Koson; Stater attributed to Brutus around 44BC. Obverse is nicely centered with full edge. Reverse is slightly off center. Great detail with mint like luster. Broad flan and is in mint like condition. A very fine example of this issue. weight: 8.5 grams size: 19.5 mm reference: BMCRR II page 474
Obv: Consul stepping left preceded and followed by lictors holding fasces. BR monogram in left field. Reverse: Eagle left with wreath standing on scepter.Likely issued for Brutus for the Civil War. Choice EF/aMS example with full mint luster. Struck on a broad flan with excellent obverse and reverse detail. Well centered overall with nice eye appeal, only the lack of perfect reverse centering keeps this beautiful specimin from a higher grade.
