I was just wondering. I never see any threads on the subject.

I think I'm one of the few people here who collect them - mostly yanks, red sox, dodgers and some phantoms - they are fun to collect and relatively easy to pick up - tho some can go for some big bucks.
Red sox - lower 75 WS and other two are phantoms
1955 WS yanks and bums - significant year since they won their only WS in Brooklyn before leaving NY.

Good point and since I am a general pin collector, I will say it's in ones blood - people who really like pins, in general, get excited just to look at them and altho you are correct about investment - the pin guys are in it for the beauty of the collectible.
This old DC Nationals pin is probably in demand now since they got a new team.
And for those who would let me bore them, I could talk forever on these beauties - now on the team pins from the 50's - they are usually found in the 1+" size - I picked up a really cool Brooklyn pennant which had this smaller 3/4" pin attached! So I got it, kind of, for free! And I had never seen one before.
My favorite which I don't have a scan handy is the 56WS dodger press tie pin - hated for the size and being a tie tack - many were thrown away and thus are more scarce.

Where have you been buying them?
