How about the Orioles vs. the Nationals in the WS?

That would be neat, two Washington, D.C area teams. That would be my choice if the Yankees don't go to the Big Dance this year. Come on Axtey, how long will it take you to tell me that the Yankees aren't going to the make the playoffs this years? T Minus 10 and counting.........

    That i would like to see, however in Sept. when all the other teams expand to 40 man rosters the Nationals will again fade as MLB has not ever allowed them that luxury.

    Yes, that would be neat. Underdogs and all that stuff. As I live between the market area for both, it would be cool. Think it may be highly unlikely though.

    As much as I like Frank Robinson, I was hoping that Frank Howard would have been asked to be Manager of the Nats... didn't happen

    Frank Robinson was appointed by MLB to manage/save the Expo's. His tenure followed him with the franchise. Don't think there were any open applications for the position. Regards.
