I bid regularily on Sportscardplus auctions (lexibell). Quality seller of quality, RARE, stuff. I check his new slides nightly. You CAN make gorgeous 16x20's from these negatives and slides, BTW.
100 G's sounds a bit steep for the negative of a half-naked man eating fruit. The novelty would wear off quite quickly, then reality would sink in... you're looking at a picture of a nude guy with a flacid penis who happens to be Mickey Mantle.
why would anyone spend the sellers asking price for a picture of mantle with his pants off eating fruit? how (and to who) would you sell an item like this to? this seller is tasteless, tacky & greedy.i'm sure very few people will share in his excitement for this item.
