NFL HOF RC set...Finally 100%

Its been a long journey, but I finally picked up the last card needed to complete the NFL HOF RC set last night. I've been collecting this set even before the Registry started, and was one of the original group that put together the request for the set.

I want to thank all those who helped me out by pointing me where to find cards I needed, and sometimes even selling me cards I needed.

The best thing about this set, is that come January of 2006, there will be new members of the HOF, thus new cards to collect.

I'm also in the midst of downsizing my overall collection in order to focus on more specific sets. Some of the cards i have for sale are listed in my ebay store (search seller jasp24). I have moved others that I have not yet listed for sale to a new Collector's Showcase set (JasP24's Additional RC's). If you see any cards there you are interested in, let me know.

Thanks again,
Jason

Frank, you are correct, i did get the Nagurski...Finally...

Anyway, I am going to focus on the HOF RC set, the All-Time Finest QB,RB,WR, and Defense sets, and also the Team of the Decade sets. These are truly my favorites and I am going to stick with these for the time being. Spend my money on upgrading these sets rather then diving into a new set. My collection was growing too large and too broad for my budget to handle. I was bidding low on cards that could upgrade my HOF set because i was spending it all on other cards that i needed.

Plus, with the possibility of being deployed to Iraq( I am active duty military) in my near future, I want to streamline my existence so the wife doesn't have to do too much shopping for me on ebay. (Yes, i will leave her a list of cards i need...lol)

Thanks to all, I look forward to watching all of your sets grow.

Wow very very nice. Some very nice examples.

And I know you aren't collecting this set as an investment, but vintage football is only going to skyrocket in value.

Great looking set! Thanks for including the scans, too!
  • Great job Jason. I am glad to see you finally completed the set. I can't wait for the same feeling you must have now.

Congratulations! What an awesomely colorful collection! It was fun doing the slide-show thing with all of the images. Not only were the cards colorful, but some of the poses (Turk Edwards; Clarke Hinkle), nicknames (Bulldog; Big Boy; Bullet; Ace; Fats), etc. were as colorful as well!

    Thanks for sharing your obsession!
