I was happy that the Koufax graded... you never know on those... Also was happy with the 5 not a 4 on the Carew.
The one that gets me is the Staubach, which looked to be a pretty solid 7 to me. image The back was way OC, but I did not request NQ, so not sure how it got a 6...

Obviously I was disappointed with the '63 AAron, it wasn't even that nice... Looked 7ish to me... oh well that's how it goes. I'm pretty amazed that the Robinson and the Koufax could get the same grade... the Koufax had rounded corners and 2 creases, but the Robinson was dirty, had tape on it and was just a rough little card. Amazing how 2 cards so different can be lumped into 1 grade.

  • thanks for the analysis. how did you attain these cards? I am assuming these are not for resale.

Everything is for sale at a price. I wouldn't mind keeping the Robinson and Koufax RC's but everything else is available.

I attained the Mays and Carew in a local shop, the Koufax at a local show, the Robinson, Bradshaw, Staubach and AAron online.
