1980-81 Basketball set NM+ on e-bay

I don't collect basketball cards, but I thought these looked really nice in the binder.

set looks good hard to see the corners on the bird/magic, almost all his other stars are way o/c, including the other sets too.

I have found those to be tough to grade. I sent in 3 different Bird/Magic I had had in my poss since the 80's and 2 were evid of trim and 1 was MC. They both lined up with the other cards in the set. Just my expirences.

    Thanks julen,
Won these 3 auctions from the same seller because of this thread:

77/78, 78/79, and 79/80 for $142 plus shipping. If the cards can even average NM I did very well in my estimation. If I get one PSA 10 of a semistar or star, or PSA 9 of a RC I did very well. It looks like this guy had a decent eye but you can't tell a whole lot from the scans. At the very worst, they will be EX/Mt and I payed about what I should have.

    Yeah!

I don't collect basketball but to simply have those sets already bound and in pretty decent condition (for price), seemed like a good thing.

I figured the bidding prices would go up a lot more than that though, that is not bad at all. The chance at a high grade RC or star, especially considering the players in those sets, I thought would've driven the price up significantly.
