How to get apart cards stuck together in the wax pack

I bought some boxes of 1998 Donruss Update. The problem is, all of the inserts stick together to the regular cards. I've already got many Silver and Gold Press Proofs and Elite Series, Diamond Kings, and Dominators inserts ruined by pulling them apart.

Does anyone know how to get them apart by not ruining them???

Put them in the freezer. I've done this with glossy cards from the 80's but not the foil. Maybe it will work for you too.

Just like two dogs - turn the hose on them.
