Just got grades from 4/22 submission

Wow. I cannot believe it took that long. Has anyone else had to wait this long?

This was on a 45 day special?

32 business days isn't so bad... I'm hoping I get my 45 day submission back in 32 days, that'll put me right on time for Nationals. image

I know how you feel though, my grades were due today and it's only been 7 days (5 business days).. I was refreshing the screen every 15 minutes til the grades showed up.

So how did you do? I met the grader of death...hope you did better than me.

Pretty good. It was the non-sprts special that I sent in cards that had been sitting around and I was shocked to learn they were fom 1939! I even got 2 10's. I have no idea what they are worth but I probably am going to find out

I got hammered. To see the carnage you can check my post on the first page titled "5 Day Grading Results - YEOUCH"

If that gives you any indication. image

Nice job on the 10's too! That's awesome!

Great grades! How did you keep them so perfect? I noticed that a complete set of 40 graded EX by the seller just sold for $25 on the bay. Could these cards be so common that they don't really attract much $$$?

My guess is it took so long to get your grades because they had to do some research into the set. According to the POP, only 11 cards in total had ever been graded before from this set.

Not sure how common they are but I also don't know how scarce. lol, I guess that's kind of a dumb sentance. I know they are from europe and I have seen the whole set go for 50 pounds in "Great Condition." From the pics I saw they looked pretty mint. I have no idea what these are worth or will sell for. I have honestly had them sitting in a box w tons of other non-sport cards that came from a huge collection I acquired sometime in the past. I figured @ 5 bucks a card I would take a shot and see if they are worth something slabbed to some solver screen afficionado. Bette Davis and Vivian Leigh both got 9's and they are pretty big names so we will have to see. There are also 3 sets of Cadet Sweets Rin Tin Tin Cards in mint from 1960 or 1968 and series "B" of 1938 Teofani Weapons of War cards in mint as well.

I have no idea what these are worth, if anything and if anything more slabbed vs raw. If only there was a set of 52 topps in that box in as pristine condition, hey a boy can dream...

I just got these back and will get a scan up this evening for whoever is interested. Don't cards just look better in a PSA holder.

I don't understand this... My submission 575341 zip 55443...A 45 Day Set Reg special. Checked in on the 9th and I had my grades (on 72 cards) on 6/14 (3 business days later). I'm ecstatic...don't get me wrong, but I don't understand what I did any differently than other people to get mine back so quickly. My sub was mainly 70's and 80's fb with a smattering of hockey and baseball. Is there little to no order to it? I would expect it to be a first in, first out kind of system.

I was fully prepared to wait the 35-45 business days. I've got another submission going out tonight, hopefully I get the same kind of turnaround. I'll be happy with anything less than 45 days.

I think they needed to research my submission a bit. With typical issues I think they typically get processed quicker.
