I know I posted it on the general discussion board, but here is a picture of my PSA 10 1986 Topps Pete Rose # 1. The only 10 to date. Card will most likely be up for sale on ebay, however I need to get back to fellow board members first. Enjoy the pic. It is my first attempt at a full picture and I had to reduce the compression to get it to fit. I put my ebay name over the serial number b/c I saw someone else do it and thought it looked neat.

Hope to see pics of others great recent grades.

No meant to be bashing or anything but yes that card looks oc!! I am kind surprised by that and if I was buying a 10 I would want the card to be perfect. Just my opinion and not meant to bash anyone or any company!

Here is a better scan of the picture, looks better than the first I posted. I think anyway. Not sure why it looked that OC. It looks much nicer in person. Back included. Any marks are on my scanner. Drew

What software did you use to insert your ebay name over the cert #? I like that idea.

I don't know - that is tough centering for a Gem Mint 10. A nice card, but unless the scan is misleading, I am a bit surprised.

ajetfan, I'm not sure of the software, as it is included as part of my visioneer paperport touch one scanner. I simply placed a text box over the cert number and typed in my user name.

As far as the OC is conerned, the card looks like it is centered better than indicated in the scan, I can't figure out why it is showing up that way. I have posted a second picture which looks a little better, but does not quite showcase how nice this card is. Anyway. I hope you all have enjoyed looking at the pics. One way or another either through a private sale or starting on ebay this weekend June 12 I will be listing the Rose for sale along with several other cards. Not intended as Spam just letting you all know I have decided to sell.

The JR screen ruler shows centering on this card to be 53/47 Left to Right and 48/52 Top to Bottom. Both well within PSA criteria for a 10.

Update FYI: A deal has been struck between myself and a fellow set registry member for the Pete Rose PSA 10 card. It was fun having the only one while it lasted. Best wishes and happy trading and collecting to everyone.
