The dealer flip said it was from Schaumburg-Hessen but 1 don't have anything listed for that in any of my references. Also my wife seems to have cleaned up my old Krause so well that I can't find it! I told her it was impossible to lose something that big...

I imagine the 'WL' stands for Wilhelm somehow. The earlier pfennig had an 'FL' monogram up to 1785 when Friedrich II died and Wilhelm took over. Both were from Hesse-Cassel. I don't know how the L figures in......
