AHHH hemorrhoidmincey piping in to stir the pot. Real shocker there. I cannot recall you ever contributing anything of any value to any thread anywhere. I am free to comment about the club as is anyone else. To my knowledge, Rick is not even in charge of the club.

Regarding your disparaging comment about my coins, it sure is nice to have yet another elitist snob on board here.

I agree. But, it seems a shame to waste a good potential flamewar, so could you guys start a different thread so we can all have some fun? image

Thank you so much for all your kind wishes! I hope you did not think my comments regarding shylock was anything more than a clarificaion - I still concider Shylock a very good friend.

I am still in bandages and my skin looks like a pizza. No more scabs though. I feel great! the prayers really helped.

Shylock here you are praying for recovery? which is it? prayer for recovery or a war of words?

In this thread I was praying for recovery. It was the right thing to do here. Any other questions Manofcoins?

Mr. Snow, I'm lating getting in on the well wishes but very glad to hear about your recovery. Even a small burn is incredibly painful so I can't imagine what you went through. Best to you and your family.

I'm another who has worked in a burn trauma unit (Barnes/StL) with some idea what you've been going through recently. We've never met or traded coins but I would not hesitate to do so, based on your excellent reputation. All best wishes for your continued full and complete recovery image

Welcome back and glad to hear the recovery process is going well. As to "internet sleuthing" I can appreciate being on the other side as the buyer coming across an aution report of a coin that I purchased for twice what it sold for in a FUN auction just months earlier. Same thing with another coin that cost me three times what it brought at another public auction. In the first case I kept the coin anyway since the seller had had it upgraded into a PCGS holder. In the second instance the dealer agreed to take it back, although he claimed that it had gone through an intermediary before reaching him. Regardless, as a buyer one does become a little more suspect when it comes to future purchases from dealers who have doubled or tripled their money at my expense. I guess that's one of the negatives of the crack out game is that the buyer who learns his acquisition just slid into a higher graded piece of plastic comes away with a bad taste in his mouth. (Obviously none of the above parallel your facts apart from the fact that the internet sometimes allows buyers to sleuth the history of their purchases when they have acquired an identifiable rare coin.)
