I would like to know the prices of 1939 silver coins of india british colonial periods 1 rupee, half rupee , 4 annas. can any one give me the price of the same I am interested in it.

The same types that were minted in 1939 were minted through 1945. Values depend on the mint mark and condition (amount of wear) of the coin.
Values for the 1/4 rupee may range from silver value, with heavy wear, of about .60 to about $3 with moderate wear to maybe $10 if Uncirculated. The 1/2 rupee may go from $1.20 with heavy wear to about $3 with moderate wear to maybe $15 if Uncirculated. The 1939 rupee is a lot scarcer and may be worth $100 even if worn.
You might also try a library for a copy of the Standard Catalog of World Coins for pictures, values and lots more interesting info.

Still !!! came to know from the source that 1939 1/4 rupee silver coins are scarce and hard to get .. if any can give any information on where it will be available.
