I like where the guy says its a rare error card because someone tore a chunk of surface off the back.

I got that '53 error card beat.

Mine's a 1952 Topps #311 Mantle that was misprinted #205 Clyde King. The error is on the front AND back! Not only that, but PSA failed to detect the error. So the PSA flip is an error too! (The flip is also wrong about the condition. It says 4 VG-EX, but the card is actually NM-MT. Yet another ultra-rare error that should increase the value exponentially, but I'm not greedy.)

This is a true 1/1, the only '52 Mantle of its kind. I'm thinking of listing it on eBay with a BIN of $25,000, but it's available to board members for $19,999. Shipping is free.

Yes, rbeaton is correct - good eye!

I pointed out to him that it looked like a 52 Joe Page, not a 53 Mantle He responded and said he goofed when submitting his listings, and re-listed it. Although i'm not sure that the error is in the paper loss! (It looks like the Braves mascot?)

I tracked down the auction actually showing the '53 Mantle and emailed the seller "Could you send me a scan of the back?" He answered back "Yes". So, I emailed "lol - would you then please send to me a scan of the back?" He ended the item and relisted it, but he sent back this answer: "ok ok i figured it out thanks there is a scan of the back of a 1953 mickey on my description now thanks for pointing that out!!!!!!"

I think it's pretty key that the guy says "back of a 1953 mickey". These cards aren't his; all you snipers best ease the trigger back down.
