GOETZ: K-135(a) Austrian and German Alliance variation Redux

I originally posted the reverse of this piece thinking at the time that the medal creation was a collaborative effort between Goetz and Drentwett. I was mistaken and this medal was made entirely by Karl Goetz. I have imaged the obverse and added it to the originally posted reverse image.

A beautiful bronze medal with frosty original devices and toned, proof-like fields.

<< <i>Now that is one beautiful medal! Nice job on getting the toning. Is the toning limited to the areas shown on the reverse or is that a trick of the light and the way the photo came out? If so, is the finish of the field different in the two areas? Another beauty, thanks! >>
Thanks Vern... The toning is evident on the rectangular field on the reverse and the entire field on the obverse. The reverse field is matte finished with the exception of the highly mirrored and toned rectangular field.
