The best or worst gum?

For me I think it is a toss up between grape big league chew(which I made sure to have a pouch with me for every little league game) and the gum topps put in their packs in 1983. For some reason I remeber that being better than the gum I got the year before or the year after.

In my old age, I hate the gum that came in 1977 Topps Mexican packs because it RUINED 1 of the 2 cards that came in the pack. I would never have tried the gum because of it's funky color when I opened the packs in 2001.

I was wondering if any of you had memories like these?

    Zef,

Have you opened a pack of the 1983 lately to see how the gum has aged? Try it!

BLC was the best! We didn't get grape until I was like 12 or so - had to have the regular flavor.

Yep, I opened a pack of 1954 Bowman football and ate the gum. Yuk!

01 Topps heritage gum is the last, or most recent delicious gum I have tried.

    Kevin,

You are supposed to chew it, not eat it!
