What will this grade?

What do you all think of this Mays? I see a slight tilt. I am guessing a 6-7?

I can't tell for sure from the picture, but there's a chance they will consider it a miscut. If they grade it, you're probably right on with a 6, perhaps a 7. Stack it up with another card to make sure it's square.

  • clearly miscut. The left border isn't parallel to the right. I have no idea how PSA will see this, but it is a shame.

I collect 67s and if the corners are nice and square, there is a chance that it could get an 8. I have seen similiar ones on ebay that have that tilted cut, that are 8s.

I agree with Stingray. I think it gets an 8.

I would say a 7, but I dont think it would look terribly out of place in an 8 holder. Again, check to make sure the card is square. If the card is cut square but the image is tilted, that's one thing. If the card is not square however, then it's a different thing altogether. Sure is a great looking card though!
  • I don't think this one gets a "miscut". I measured it with a screen ruler and it's no more than three pixels off in any direction. At 96 pixels per inch that's not a big problem. Centering at its worst point is 59/41 (top l/r). If the corners are resonably sharp and the surface doesn't have any hidden wear this card is a good candidate for an eight.
