It's cool, but is it in Krause?

Going through a box of Darkside material I just acquired and this piece looks interesting. That being said, I can't find it in Krause.....image

This is early for me but it's a jeton struck for one of the provincial estates. It is probably a jeton de presence, given to attendees of the meetings. That said, you should check the edges for hallmarks or 'poinçons' to see if it is a later restrike.

  • Danglen,

This site might be of use.

Yep, Kal's link is the best.. there are a lot that look like this, but I think yours is D.119 (do Ctrl+F on that), of which CGB has three examples ranging from VF to BU with their stock prices listed. There are some decent write-ups on there too, but you might need a better translator than me! image

I've had a nice Jeton in my collection for a long time and had no idea what it was.
I found it on that Link page.

    THANKS!
