1925 Peace Dollar

Hi,

Here is a 1925 Peace Dollar. It looks much better in person. It definitely shows signs of being cleaned on the obverse because you can see very fine lines as if someone may have used a toothbrush on it, but it in no way effects the beautiful lustre of the coin. Anyway, you grade it and make me an offer. I accept PayPal (+3%) or money orders. Shipping is by priority mail with insurance & delivery confiemation only with bubble mailer for protection. Total shipping cost is $6.50.

E-mail me at martif05@direcway.com.

Why not just mail it first class with insurance for $1.90? Delivery confirmation is not really needed. If you do need it, it is a service for the seller, not the buyer. The buyer does not need to know when the coin was delivered.

That said, if the coin has been cleaned as you suggest, then you may not be able to get more than $12.00 for it, and that may be on the high side.
  • No problem, it is still a very pretty coin. Back into my collection it goes. Thanks.

I hope you did not get offended. I was just trying to help.

And, yes, I agree, it does look like a nice coin. From the image, it does not look cleaned at all, unless I am missing something. Of course, those fine lines you see may be slide marks from coin albums.
  • No offense taken. If you were holding the coin and slanted it, you can see the tell tale lines of brushing. I am sure of it. I was just being up front with any buyers. I will keep it. It is not worth the hassle of someone buying it and then wanting to return it.
