Ebay stores

OK, I just created a coin store and put a few coins up in it but they are not being displayed. Does it take a half hour, hour? One question. They want you to choose a main store category and there's a 1-19. I've looked up and down and cant find a key to what it means. Right now it's at "other"

I looked at your store. It apprears that you have a few items showing up. Two at auction and three in the store. Cool coins, as always. image

Oh boy are you in for a surprise. As far as the categories go, you create your own. You get a total of 20, one of them already titled "other". From your main eBay page, you go into "manage my store". Once inside you can create your own category titles.

Now, the suck-@$$ thing about putting a coin in an ebay store is that it won't show up in a normal search if there are more than 20 (I think it's 20) other items in standard live auction format. For example, I have a 1921 VAM 52A discovery coin in my store. If you were to do a simple search using the parameters of: 1921 VAM ... Then you won't see my coin because there are 26 live auction coins available. If you do a search of: 1921 VAM 52A ... There are no live auction coins falling within those parameters (I own the only one image) so my store coin shows up. In other words, most people won't see the coins listed in your store, unless you list them in live auction format. I hope this makes sense.

And yes, to answer your question, sometimes it does take a half-hour to show up in the database.
