Minor League Cards in Player Registry?

Just curious if this is a common thing, or rare to have a player's minor league card in their master set?

Boggs' playing years were 82-2000, yet his 81 minor league card is included in the master set.

Ax, I don't think it is that rare.

Example: The Jacques Plante master set includes his 1951 Laval Dairy XRC. It also includes 3 1954 Parkhurst "in action" cards featuring Plante and his RC is a 1955 Parkhurst.

I think if PSA grades a certain issue & it gets requested for a player set it will be added.

  • 1981 was a playing year for him. And the set has contained the card since it was listed about 3 years ago.

I asume from the lack of a response you are not intrested in the few cards I have of Boggs?

Hmm that's wierd...never even saw that message.

And sorry, but I have both (picked up the fleer today along with a couple others).

    Thanks though.

And I was simply curious why a minor league card was listed is all...wasn't trying to rock the boat.

The Sosa Master set has 4 minor league cards. Which is good, because collecting the other 1,200 cards in that set isn't much of a challenge.image
