What a jerk!

Just watched a near confrontation he had with some reporters regarding his son...and the media guys are there to do their job - get information. Yet Sr. takes it on himself to say 'you are journalists...if you can still call yourselves that' and ranting on and on and on about how the media has bascially turned Jr. into a piece of property.

Man I used to have a lot more respect for this guy...but with the way his son has turned out (grade a jerk, and repeated run ins with the media regarding his son), I really have to say he's not who I thought he was.

    I dont blame a man for sticking up for his son. I would do the same thing for my kids.

    I agree......parents look at their kids with blinders on....hell, look at Scott Peterson's parents.....perhaps the only two people in the world who think their son is innocent and nothing's gonna change their minds.

    Thats comparing apples to oranges.. winslow just made a mistake on a motorcycle, he didnt kill anyone..

    i understand what you mean, but i dont see how peterson's parents could think he is still not guilty.

    Take it from a dyed-in-the-wool crime buff who has followed all aspects of this case.....you should've read daddy Lee Peterson's letter-to-the-editor of the Sacramento Bee a few weeks ago......he thinks his son Scott is the victim of a massive conspiracy and rush to judgement on the part of the District Attorney's office, Modesto Police Department, and the entire print and broadcast media.....he said the only thing Scott is guilty of is being caught in an extra-marital affair with Amber Frey......the murder conviction is nothing but a frame-up thanks to the conspiracy.

    Actually it was the modesto bee (my hometown paper here)...yes, he believes that Scott was found guilty by the jury because he had an affair.

    It's one thing to to stick up for your son, another to be so completely off the deep end like that.
