What cards do you reccommend?

I was just wondering, with all of the different types of packs out there these days, which ones do you think are the best values? (Price of packs VS odds of pulling a good insert card)
I still remember when there was only Topps, Score, Donruss, and Fleer. I'm just getting back into the hobby after 10 years. Thanks.

As far as possible appreciation is concerned for base cards, not inserts, probably Topps Heritage...For inserts, I have no idea...

I've heard about those cards, but I haven't been able to find any in Japan yet. (They're sold out of them) Are they worth picking up a box off of ebay? What's the most I should pay?
it just isn't worth guessing which one, as the bad products are all over the place. You might also want to check out SP Prospects
and Donruss Elite Extra Edition, both release late in the season
Football is easy..contenders and SPA period, there has yet to be an expection to the rule...of course some rookie classes are stronger
then others, last year was LOADED but I think this year will be a bust. Baseball is somewhat the same.
If you don't collect rookies then you really need not worry about value as everything you pull will go down in value. I mention the above
examples because you can get a lot for a little and if you open a lot you have even more. Stuff like Legendary cuts is hit or miss....12
boxes per case at 90 a box is nice, but 11 of those boxes won't be worth 50 bucks and that 12th box may or may not get you your money
back.
Good Luck
