1954 Dandee to grade or not to grade

1954's definately one of the most condion snesitive sets. I have a frank thomas that has a shot at a 6. How do the sales on these do? Is the bidding spirited? I would think SMR is waaaaay off on this issue. Discuss!

  • If you look at the Pop report, Thomas is the 2nd least graded card with 22 PSA examples 13 of which are 6 and up so I'd say it's worth getting it graded.

You're right, SMR is way off. I"ve gotten outbid on Dan Dee's at double SMR more than a few times in the last year. It's definitely worth grading if you're going to sell it. But if you're hanging on to it and not working on the set for the registry why bother?

Always looking for Topps Salesman Samples, pre '51 unopened packs, E90-2, E91a, N690 Kalamazoo Bats, and T204 Square Frame Ramly's

I just have so many odd ball singles that it is hard to keep track of everything. I am pursing the 55 topps set in 6 or better and selling this , though it wont get me a nce Koufax 7, will help me on my way!
