Some of these writers for these auctions are great. They sure know how to build up a card. I have seen some creative writing in some of the other card auction also.
<<If it wasn't for the 20% juice, I'd be all over that one.>>
Their "juice" is interesting. If the winning bid is $95,000, the total would be $114,000 with the juice (20%). If the winning bid is $102,000, the total would be $114,240 with the juice (12%). You gotta love the incentive to reach for the sky. Might as well bid the extra $7,000 cause in the end it's only gonna cost you $240.

I can see the juice when the auction house is conducting a live auction. Adding juice for an ebay auction seems like pure greed.
Personally I am not a fan of the auction houses for cards. I can see it for memorbilia, but for cards it seems to me that the seller/buyer can get a better deal direct.
Guys, I had a great idea Let's all pitch in to buy the card send it to GAi for the .5 bump relist it for double as GAI 1.5 1st graded eh.........eh????
As great as it would be to own one of those, in any condition, I have to agree, that crease over his left eye is VERY distracting and would drive me nuts. I found myself staring at it on the screen, like that bit of ketchup on the corner of your date's mouth...
It's a very ugly card..... what a load of crap that was written about it... Regardless of whether it's the most sought after baseball card in existence, I wouldn't pay $10 for that eyesore.

I may be wrong but when people talk about something that may be a good investment - the T206 Wagner should be on top of the list - in any grade.
