Is this an error card??? Need some help here!!

Ok I just got back a recent submission from PSA and 1 of the cards I got back was a PSA 7 on a 1965 Checklist 1-88 card #79. I was looking up this card on the population report when I noticed that there was 2 different versions graded. 1 of them apparently is just the regular card and the other is one where it shows #61 Chris Cannizzaro as just Cannizzaro. I was looking on the back of my card and it has him listed as just Cannizzaro so do I have the error card or what? I haven't seen any other of these Checklist cards so I don't have anything to compare to, does anyone have some experience with this card or know about this particular card and can help me?

Generally speaking, the early 60s checklist variations don't carry a great premium value one over another. The SCD price guide shows your Cannizarro at $8 while the C. Cannizarro is $3.50. I've got one of each, and I have no idea where SCD thinks one is worth more than twice the other. I don't think there would be a rush to bid for the rare Cannizarro checklist card anymore than any other #79 checklist card; unless it's part of a master set that needs completion - and, even then, that's a stretch, methinks.

What Mark said, and if your card was an 8 or a 9 then it would be somewhat stronger.

    Good for you.
  • Thanks for the help guys!! I have several PSA 6 and 7 1965 commons available all of them with NQ and well centered. If anyone is interested in them for a set or otherwise feel free to email me @ smithfamily@stpaultel.com.
