Is today the cutoff for the set registry awards?

I received an e-mail a month or two ago but haven't seen any discussion on this subject. In addition, I'm waiting on several cards to be added to my Dan Marino basic set - which when added will bring me up to 65% complete (I'm currently a hair over 57% complete).

No, today is not the deadline.

From the awards page...

This year's deadline for set registration and updates is October 31, 2005. Sets must be submitted for validation no later than 7pm PST. Please plan ahead when sending potential set registry cards to PSA for grading.

Please Note: The 2006 deadline is moved to May 31, 2006.

Also of note, sets need to be 75% completed this year to qualify.

Greg, I was under the same impression from an e-mail that I received. I guess that we are both having problems with that age thing! (33)

Good thing is that we have until October. I also didn't know about the 75% thing.

That gives me some time to catch up with my 1972 Topps Baseball Set! I'm all the way up to 77th! Woo hoo! Hey, I just started it yesterday and I already passed a few folks, so take it easy on me

I was wondering the same. Awaiting a bunch of new stuff that will take me well over 70% on each set when they arrive/get added.
