Heritage is now accepting Paypal. Why?
I got an email from Heritage that contained the following:
We accept PayPal payments of up to $10,000 from non-dealers at our discretion. At this time, PayPal is only available for auction invoices. Look for it for inventory purchases soon!
My question is, why would Heritage accept Paypal? I think they accept credit cards, so what is the purpose of using Paypal also? Are the fees less expensive? I am not sure, so if anyone has any thoughts, that would be great.

Why not? People that have funds in their PayPal accounts can now use it for payments to Heritage. Doesn't sound like a bad thing.

I believe the max one day transfer from paypal has been $3,000 so the $10,000 limit to Heritage is new.
Not that I ever spend that much on a coin, anyway.

Max transaction is, and has been, $10K at PayPal for anyone with the correct account type.

Same reason anyone should accept PayPal -- the more payment options you have, the wider net you cast for buyers. More buyers means more sales, and more bidders for auctions (=higher final values).
Everyone is happy.
