Found this disclaimer on their site:

    Transaction Tips:

Make sure you know to whom you are sending a payment. Be wary of third party "collection" or "holding" services unless they are a reputable, licensed escrow service. BidPay is not an escrow service, should not be used as an escrow service and is currently not affiliated with any escrow service.
BidPay is a payment service only and is not responsible for the delivery or quality of goods purchased from another person. If you have a dispute regarding an item you've purchased, please contact the auction site you used to bid on the item. See the terms and conditions that apply to your use of BidPay.

I use bidpay to pay for items I've won from sellers who do not accept Paypal. Mostly DSL. I find the small fee they charge is money well spent considering the time it would take to purchase and mail a money order myself. So far no problems.

    Hope this helped, Bob
