How difficult would it be to assemble a George IV type set ...

... of copper and silver coinage in EF to UNC ???

Has anyone here done this, and, if so, how tough was it ... what were the hardest coins to find image

I may try it since I won that fabulous George IV farthing from Terry. I just can't stop looking at it, and I want more George IV coins image

I suspect if your bank account was large enough, nothing would be difficult. image

If i were you i'd attempt the 1826 date set first, break it down a bit. 9I once tried this, i got the shilling and the sixpence but then i got sidetracked into Early milled). image

If you're still interested after the 1826 then expand to include the older designs. It seems less daunting if broken down.

My 1826 set lays dormant after about a year with only the shilling purchased, in aUNC/UNC. You would have a hard time getting the sixpence in a good enough condition (ie EF+).
