    Here it is from the newest Krause 1800's book (4th Ed.) ...

    KM#269
    11.1110g, .900 SILVER, .3215 oz. ASW
    1899-G (Karlsruhe)
    mintage = 327K
    VF=$95., XF=$350., UNC=$1000., BU=$1,200.

    Krause "EF" is nearly equal to American "AU" if my understanding is accurate.

    The Second Edition of the Krause SCWC 1801-1900 (1998?) has the mintage for 1899G at 327,000 the 1898G at 87,000 with the additional value of $30 in Fine condition for both years.

    Edited to add - Nice coin, BTW. imageimage

    Who knows which mintage figures are correct image
    I find a LOT of discrepancies in various editions of Krause.
    I just hope the values are reasonably accurate.

    I missed your post, AuldFartte, when I replied and was referring to kuhli's. Besides, your Krause is more recent than mine. image

    The mintage is 327.061 exactly, I would grade it xf- (German Standards)

    A nice and hard to find coin image
