The Whitman Show in Atlanta was Great!

I went to the Whitman show in Atlanta today and took my granddaughter.
I've been to many trade and professional shows in my life and this was by far the best. The show organizers had a special session for "young numismatists" and it was unbelievable - they gave the kids good information at their level and literally loaded them down with books, supplies, and even coins.
There were dealers there whose names I recognized from this board and everybody was really nice and patient with the kids.
I think my graddaughter is hooked!

Sounds like fun. My youngest granddaughter is also hooked I think. I took her to a local coin shop where they gave her a couple of coins. None of this "put them up to look at them" stuff though - she wants to carry them with her.

That's really cool, I like it when people treat little ones with some respect. Don't treat them like outsiders or troublemakers.
